We walked the boards after dinner so Natalie and Zach could go on some rides. Even Pam was convinced to take Natalie on the Sea Serpent- with much coaxing and soul-searching! If you look very closely you can see Pam's face as the roller coaster drops! :) Zach watched in amazement and nervousness. Then he felt better after his first ice cream cone. Natalie and Daddy rode the teacups and Zach, Natalie and Pam rode the merry-go-round. What a great night!
Saturday was Mom Mom Millard's birthday. Pam, Mom Mom and Poppy all enjoy Gyros (year-os), Natalie had Chicken Fingers and Zach trashed my cheesesteak sub. Overall it was a very nice day and a beautiful night for the boardwalk. Here are some pictures.
Took this shot on Thursday night. Could you tell the kids were excited about heading to the shore tomorrow? It was too cute. Natalie and Zach really love each other!
We have learned our first body part. Ironically when I was this playing this video for Pam, he was listening to the audio and every time we said belly he started patting his belly. Next up. Dancing Zach. :)
Happy Father's Day to all of the Fathers out there! What a wonderful day. Pam let me sleep in and then made me my favorite breakfast of blueberry pancakes. Then I played a game with Natalie while Zachary took his nap. She beat me pretty badly in Memory which really tells me that I am losing my memory. (That and Natalie has a tendency to cheat!) Natalie got some new clothes and then we ate homemade turkey burgers, pasta salad and corn on the cob! Yummy! Of course I never thought to actually take pictures of me with the kids on Father's Day but I did get some nice shots of the kids! :)
Natalie's new dress from the Gap with matching flip flops.
Strike a pose.
What do you mean I look like I am up to no good???
Zach trying to tell Natalie that its entirely too hot to snuggle!
We had Jackson's third birhtday party on Saturday afternoon. It was tough enduring the heat but it was still a fun time. Zach wasn't too fond of the swing the first time he tried it, but this time he loved it! We got Natalie later on that night and she got to go swimming in the Poppy's pool. She was so gracious!
Just when you thought your son was too stubborn to walk on his own, he starts taking multiple steps. Pam was able to take a few videos, this one was small enough to post.
Here is a video of Zach's showing how interested he is in learning how to walk. He is getting better though. Just yesterday he put two or three steps together so we're getting there. ;)
